			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Have you ever wondered why you cannot keep doing the same thing over and over and achieve different results?  That, I have been told, is the definition of insanity.  In my opinion if you try to follow the same &#8220;Diet&#8221; or &#8220;Guru Fitness Routine&#8221; and try nothing else&#8230;.you will achieve the same results as someone carrying out the same action.  Let&#8217;s take this to the next level.  There are probably half a dozen or so healthy habits you need to follow to be extremely fit and healthy.</p>
<p>1. Good sleep habits-for body repair and recuperation</p>
<p>2. Frequent exercise-flexibility, cardio and strength training with periodical shifts and changes in focus throughout any given year not only for the sake of variety but also to stimulate your brain differently too</p>
<p>3. Healthy eating-not dieting but &#8220;what, how and when you eat&#8221;</p>
<p>4. Stay hydrated-your body is made primarily of water and many chemical and muscular actions need water to work optimally</p>
<p>5. Stress and anxiety management techniques-don&#8217;t think you should keep things bottled up  you&#8217;re killing your insides and adrenal glands</p>
<p>6. Pre-habilitation with help from natural healthcare professionals-keep your body tuned up just like  you would an important appliance or car</p>
<p>If you can follow these simple six steps and be consistent and follow through with relentless action&#8230;..you will be healthy and fit.</p>

How do you optimize your fitness level (cardio, strength, flexibility), while ensuring you&#8217;ll be injury free (or almost ensuring).  Often times I would like to train towards something like the Ride to Conquer Cancer etc. and am held back because I worry that I will pay for the extra training with my body (back).<br />
Having incorporated Yoga, and using things like chiro, osteo, bowen, massage, accupuncture in my life are tools I thought would really keep me injury free for years.  Although I&#8217;ve not really experienced anything major, I don&#8217;t like to be held back.<br />
Is this just something one has to accept at the ripe young age of 44, or do you have tricks up your sleeve you&#8217;d like to share?  I&#8217;m hoping you have a long sleeved shirt on, and not a tank top &#8211; ha!<br />
