Well, it is coming and going just like last year. We are in week two for this new decade, new year, new whatever you want to label it. Are you on your fitness path yet? Have you started a blueprint plan to see exactly what you need to accomplish to hit your targets this year?
I worked out today did you? Remember, each and every workout you get in over the holidays is a great move toward the new year that will be just around the corner.
If you want to have a fitter body for Summer 2010 START NOW!! Don’t wait until after the holidays, you will regret the 5 or 7 or 10 pounds that some people put on if you go that route, so STOP…DO NOT GIVE IN!!

Wow, one week after doing my all-time best DB Curls with 50lbs I had my buddy Irv spot me and I think he did not help but I did 4 reps each arm. Feeling great and alive in 2009, thanks for everyone who has supported me and is a member of this blog.

Even after a full-day of sitting at a nutrition conference and then driving for 40 minutes, I made it to the gym for a workout. Glad I did it and feel better for doing it, and now it’s only 8:30pm and I am ready to get some sleep. Many people do not realize when you are using your brain your glucose levels plummet and hence your glucose requirement escalates. It is a pretty easy to understand relationship too, the more you stress the brain when learning and studying the more glucose it needs. For this reason I know how I would feel if I did not eat well and often and stay hydrated during an eight hour learning session. I start at home with a great breakfast, this morning was a two-egg omelet with green onions and some cottage cheese 1% fat and all my supplements. Then a couple of hours later a banana and yogurt. Then lunch was two white meat chicken skewers, salad, and steamed veggies and supplements. Snack two hours later was a protein shake. One hour later was a cubed mixed fruit bowl. Dinner consisted of fava beans, salad, and sea bass and supplements. Of course throughout the entire day I sipped water and stayed well hydrated. By the end of the day even though I was very exhausted from the listening and learning process I was not that physically tired, so I was able to go to the gym and have a decent workout.
