This is crazy. I have been introduced to the world of cancer via clients in the past decade and only recently my mother and some of my friend’s mom’s too.
If someone were to tell you that you had no rights left regarding your very own body, what would you do?

Ok, if today were an all-the-time kind of typical day. I would be the fittest and healthiest person on the planet. Not only did I eat healthy, but I had a personal trainer train me, then I had another trainer do a fitness test on me, then I did 2.5 hours of gardening. Wow, talk about feeling great and exhausted at the same time.
I wish everyone could feel the natural high from this day as I have and will continue to have this entire weekend.
Since yesterday was indulgence day what do you think today was? Protein, good carbs, fruits and veggies and water. Throw in some supplements and cardio plus a muscle conditioning workout and you have a healthy day back on track.

Apple pie, mmmmmmmmmm, it was good and I don’t feel a bit guilty since I spent the 5 days prior to today, Mother’s day, eating very clean and healthy food.
So, moral of being consistently disciplined and eating healthy the majority of the time and allowing for the occasional indulgence, it feels good and it’s good for you!!
Two nights in a row for our 7-week old. Last night the timing was a bit different but she slept 11:15pm to 6am this morning. Wow, there are few words that can describe the feeling of being well rested with a newborn but “Whew” is one of them.

Even though it is Easter Sunday tomorrow my gym is open and I intend to go for a quick workout. Then when I get home and have my planned indulgent meal everything will be copacetic. I hope everyone is enjoying a fabulous weekend that makes this time of the year even more special.
Have I ever answered the question how do I eat healthy all the time? Yes I have, many times per week.
Simply put, I am very organized. I plan and organize my nutrition just like I do for my workouts. They are actual appointments in my life schedule.
I schedule my workouts usually every Sunday night because I generally know what my week is going to look like, and if I need to I can always change on the fly like I did today when a client cancelled I used his slot to workout and get paid doing it instead of waiting until the end of the day when I was going to go to the gym on my way home.
