The proper execution of the correct health and fitness techniques and concepts will yield positive results with respect to overall health and wellness. These include the seven main pillars of health:
1. Nutrition~including supplementation
2. Resistance training or weight-training including core conditioning
3. Cardiovascular training
4. Flexibility conditioning
5. Balance~from a proprioceptive perspective
6. Sleep patterns
7. Stress management

Everyone deals with or tries to deal or cope with stress. Some people cannot deal or cope very well and never achieve their optimal level of health and fitness. Even exercise is a stress on the body. Albeit, a positive stress when not overdone, but nonetheless exercise is also a stressor. What I need you to understand is there must be a balance of stress and a method to manage the stressors in your life for you to be able to achieve your optimal physical fitness level.

Hey everyone,
This question came in as a very popular one, and frequently asked.
“What is the best way to train and loose weight? Does a straight cardio workout work best, or would more of a circuit type work out be better i.e. doing cardio for 15 mins, then doing weights for 15 mins, and then back to cardio, etc…I’m not sure which would provide quicker and better results?”
Thanks
Sandy

Enjoy a more fulfilling life through a healthy and fit body.
If we could all be the healthiest we could be then the energy in our daily lives would be the least of our concerns. When someone doesn’t have the energy at the end of the day or as most people complain, the middle of the afternoon, the effort needed to have social relationships is diminished or the ability to play with your children or walk the dog…..whatever needs a little energy input is compromised.

Treat your body with RESPECT. Too many of us do not respect our bodies. We take for granted that we are alive and then make our bodies try to cope with a constant bombardment of poor nutrition, unhealthy sleep patterns, alcohol, refined or processed carbohydrates and sugar overload….and that’s just a few unhealthy habits.

The 80~20 Rule, or the 90~10 Rule, whatever the percentage is in scientific terms does not matter, it is the fact that Physical Fitness and the achievement of Optimal Health and Fitness is not all about the physiological aspects of our human body. There is the Psychological aspect and the direct usage both conscious and subconscious, of our brains.

There is absolutely no process that does not require TIME. Everything we do takes TIME, even the nanoseconds it takes for your brain to read the word TIME, takes TIME. My point is improving your health and fitness level is not an exception. The process of becoming and staying healthy and fit must be relentlessly pursued and thought of as a never-ending approach.

Have you ever wondered why you cannot keep doing the same thing over and over and achieve different results? That, I have been told, is the definition of insanity. In my opinion if you try to follow the same “Diet” or “Guru Fitness Routine” and try nothing else….you will achieve the same results as someone carrying out the same action. Let’s take this to the next level. There are probably half a dozen or so healthy habits you need to follow to be extremely fit and healthy.

Well Folks,
July is fast approaching an end, have you put your mind into your body yet?
Start now, it is never too late but you can never ever get back the time you procrastinated away, never!
Make a blueprint, start tomorrow, take ACTION!
Remember ACTION = I ACT ON (just spelled out differently!)
